3 Fall-Themed Drinks for This Season

The leaves are getting crispy, the weather is cooling down, and sweaters are back on store shelves.  We can all sense the turn of the season, changing how we experience the world around us and what foods and drinks we crave. If you’re a big fan of fall and booze and want to celebrate the season with a good drink: it’s not hard! Fall drinks are as comfortable as scooping a teaspoon of pumpkin spice seasoning into any glass you can make.

There are more creative ways to celebrate!

Here are three fall-themed drinks you can enjoy to keep the cold at bay!

3 Fall-Themed Drinks for This Season

Apple Cider Mimosas

We’ll start the list with a drink that will remind you of brunch in a cute pancake and french toast cafe.  This drink is bubbly and sweet, with a tangy twist that will make your cheeks sting like you’ve been smiling for too long!  To start, prep for this drink by combining two tablespoons of sugar with one tablespoon of cinnamon.  Dip your flutes or glasses in some champagne, and then dip them into the sugar and cinnamon mixture to coat the rim.

From here, you’ll need the rest of your bottle of champagne and a cup of apple cider.

Pour the cider until it fills about a fourth of each of your champagne flutes, and then follow through with your champagne to fill them the rest of the way. These are sweet and flirty drinks that taste like a crisp autumn morning.

The Ticket To Cuba

This warm getaway in a glass is suitable for anyone who’s up to a little challenge.  A sweet and citrusy drink, the Ticket to Cuba offers a zippy flavor with a smooth finish.  To create this, you’ll need an ounce and a half of Ron Zacapa rum, half an ounce of yuzu citrus juice, half an ounce of simple syrup, some fresh mint, and some champagne.

Create this drink within a shaker, combining everything except the champagne and shaking thoroughly.  Strain twice, and pour into a chilled glass.  Top off with a little champagne, and enjoy!  The flavor is surprisingly autumnal and warm and will leave you feeling like you took a trip to somewhere more generous than the closest liquor store Savannah has to offer.

Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice

It really couldn’t be a fall drinks list if there weren’t anything pumpkin on it!  This drink is as spiced as you could get, with a fun, sweet pumpkin flavor that will excite.  It’s simple to make, and you’ll catch yourself wanting to create it time and time again.  Combine one ounce of Bailey’s pumpkin spice with one ounce of Captain Morgan’s spiced rum.

Top with a scoop and a half of vanilla ice cream, a little mint, and then a small cola pour on top.  The cola will make the ice cream light and fizzy, setting off the whole drink to a delicious and creamy concoction. This beverage is a fun dessert drink where you’ll hardly notice the alcohol!
