Melissa, tell us a bit about yourself and how did you get involved into modeling? I started few months ago as photo model. I am now with modeling agency based in Paris, I live in Bordeaux and sometimes travel abroad. Today allows me to prosper in this world, fashion is my love and passion.
Can you also tell us more about your title Miss France of Miss Global Organization 2015? I received the title of Miss France for Miss Global 2015 while doing casting. I was picked amongst hundred of other candidates. This experience has been amazing from a social aspect and professional aspect. The title of Miss France has opened many doors for me, and has granted me access to the world, television and radio. This year miss Global took place in the Philippines.
In your opinion what do you believe is the key to success for a model? What qualities does one need to succeed? As far as I’m concerned the ” key” to success does not exist but from my past experiences, in order to succeed you must grow physically and mentally, but most importantly you must be patient and focused. You must spend all time with yourself and want learn new things.
What do you find the most challenging part about working as a model? The most challenging thing about working as model was having to overcome my shyness.
What keeps you excited about modeling? The most exciting thing about this experience is being able to travel to so many beautiful places.
What’s one of the most interesting shoots/projects that you’ve done? The most interesting project shooting that I did was with Fred Kyrel who makes outfits out of rope.
What was the craziest thing to happen to you at shoot? The craziest was when I did a shooting with a real wolf.
What are your favorite genres & styles of modeling? My favorite is modeling wedding dresses.
How did you keep your confidence up? I kept my confidence up thanks to the support of my family and friends.
In your opinion, what makes you unique? In my opinion I think I am unique because of my atypical body.
Do you have any beauty secrets or products you swear by? What do you do to keep in shape? I do not have any beauty secrets but to keep my shape I do different fitness exercises.
What are you doing to prepare yourself for a shoot? Before every shoot I make sure to get a good night’s sleep and I avoid attending any parties, I also dance a bit before to prepare myself
What do you think “beauty” is? I think beauty is subjective. We cannot please everyone.
What’s your most memorable direction a photographer has ever given to you? The best advice that was given to me is to persevere and that I should overcome every obstacle.
Who are some models you look up to and adore? The model I am looking up to adore is Cara Delevingne.
Is there anything you’d like to do in the future? Someone you would like to work with or something you would like to accomplish? In the future I would like to do some social work and help children in need. I would also want to Model for Karl Lagarfeld. If he reads this magazine … lol !
So what are you excited to do next? If you could have your next dream job, what would it be? I’m excited about the role I got in an Australian movie and my dream job would be to work with animals.
Melissa, what would be your advice to girls who want to start modeling? To all the beginners like I once was I can only say one thing: “patience is the key word”.

When you’re not busy modeling, what are some of your favorite things to do? When I am not busy modeling I spend time with my family and friends.
Tell us one thing about yourself people might find surprising. The things people might find surprising about me is that I don’t like hand bags but I also really like horror movies.
